Texto

As of Wednesday, April 2nd, the position of president of Ocyan will be held by Rodrigo Lemos, until then the company's executive vice-president of Subsea and Offshore Production. This transition has been structured in a planned way over the last few months and aims to ensure the company continues to grow safely and profitably, with an absolute focus on the customer. Rodrigo replaces Luiz Reis, who will provide even closer support over the next three months to ensure that the transfer of responsibilities runs smoothly. Reis remains a member of the company's Board.

This internal succession move reflects the Board's full confidence in the company's executive body and especially in the skills and strategic vision of the new leader, who has a proven track record of success in running the company's three business areas: offshore production, subsea and services.

"It was on the basis of solid, well-structured work that we moved forward with the succession of the executive leadership. And, unsurprisingly, the choice comes from a great talent already within the company. Rodrigo knows Ocyan deeply and has the experience, discipline and focus we need. We are confident that his management will be marked by consistency and results," celebrates Flávio Valle, Chairman of Ocyan's Board of Directors and Managing Director of EIG in Brazil, a global American fund that is a leader in the energy and infrastructure sectors and which, together with Lake Capital Investimentos, the asset management division of Lakeshore Partners, focused on the energy and infrastructure sectors, acquired 100% of Ocyan's stake exactly one year ago.

Lemos has a degree in mechanical engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, an MBA in Project Management from FGV, a specialization in Finance (FIPECAFI) and several certifications from international institutions. He joined Ocyan in 2005 and since then has held positions in various areas. He has participated in company projects in Brazil and abroad, mainly as director of the Offshore Production area from 2010 to 2021. Before becoming CEO, he was Executive Vice President of Subsea and Offshore Production. He is also a member of the Board of the Altera&Ocyan Joint Venture.
