Ocyan announces contract with Petrobras for Búzios Field

Scope includes services of maintenance and repair of platforms and will demand the hiring of 500 workers at the peak of services
Ocyan won a new contract with Petrobras for maintenance activities and offshore services, lasting at least four years, with the possibility of being extended for up to 320 days, in the Búzios Field, 180km from the municipality of Rio. The value of the contract is approximately R$ 750 million and Ocyan expects to hire more than 500 workers.
For Jorge Luiz Mitidieri, Ocyan’s CEO, the new contract is further proof of the company's pioneering spirit in the sector and the relationship of trust with Petrobras. “The contract for the Búzios Field strengthens our project portfolio and maintains Ocyan as a reference in services for platforms in the country. We are looking forward to working together once again to deliver another project", concludes the executive.
Ocyan’s business unit for Offshore and Maintenance services accumulates wide experience that may be translated in numbers.
